Le seamen’s club a eu le plaisir de recevoir au début 2022 une belle table de pingpong, don d’un adhérent. La mise en place a pris quelques temps mais le résultat attire désormais les marins. Lors de l’escale du bulk carrier OREO à Nantes entre le 31 mai et le 03 juin, la visite de marins philippins au foyer a permis d’inaugurer de belle manière la table de ping pong par un match acharné entre Aguilar et Ernesto. L’histoire ne dis pas qui a gagné, mais peu importe seul compte le plaisir de la détente. Trois jours plus tard, deux marins ukrainiens du Sofia R refaisaient le même match. Objet inanimé, avez vous donc une âme….? Probablement oui, celle du plaisir de passer un moment hors du temps pour oublier un long embarquement ou la guerre dans son pays.
The seamen’s club had the pleasure of receiving a beautiful ping-pong table at the beginning of 2022, donated by a member. The installation took some time but the result is now attracting sailors.
